Would you like to see Heidi Klum eat a hamburger…sexually? You’re in luck, because the German supermodel is the latest burger-loving babe to star in an ad for sexy hamburger chain Carl’s Jr. Specifically: their Jim Beam Bourbon Burger (TM).
In anticipation of any questions you may have after watching the commercial, Carl’s Jr. has made a behind-the-scenes video in which Heidi Klum describes the ad’s “foodified” take on The Graduate:
“Basically, I’m playing Mrs. Robinson, and I’m seducing this cute little boy with my burger. I’m kind of eating a little bit of the burger, and food and sauce is on my mouth and I’m licking my lips. And he’s looking at me, and he’s getting all sweaty, and he doesn’t know what to think of all this, because I’m seducing him with this burger. And I shove the burger in his mouth in a sexy way, so it’s a very kind of sensual, sexy scene.”
Can we think about that for a second? If you saw someone licking suggestively at a burger in real life, and getting it all over her face while intensely staring at you, you would probably try to get her the mental help she needs, no matter how hot she was. But no matter.
I also like it when the creative director guy says this burger is for “mature tastebuds only,” because I picture a bunch of hoity toity people who couldn’t get a table at Nobu sitting around a Carl’s Jr. table commenting on this burger’s flavor profile.
The most outrageous part, though, is when Heidi claims she’s had “a lot of [burgers] today,” hence is “an expert” on them, because one of those things has almost 1,000 calories, and you don’t have to be a supermodel to find the idea of eating multiple 1,000-calorie burgers in one day revolting.
