Minnie Mouse Has A Lanvin Dress And You Don’t. How Do You Feel?

Minnie Mouse feels pretty! Oh, so pretty!

Minnie Mouse feels pretty! Oh, so pretty!

Oh, the French. When it comes to celebrations of any sort, they really know how to do it up. That might be why I love them so… or maybe it’s just because of the cheese.

So, in preparations for Disneyland Paris’ 20th anniversary, the event drew in a heavy hitter in the fashion world. Starting April 1st, the celebration for the 20-year-old park will kick off, and Minnie Mouse will be rocking something a bit more fancy than her usual red and white polka dot dress. It is a party after all.

Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz designed a custom dress for the mouse to wear during all the upcoming celebrations to be had. Do you have a Lanvin dress? Do you think you’ll ever be able to drop that type of cash on one? Are you Minnie Mouse?

As you can see, the dress is a lovely royal blue with some sequins and other shiny things that are bound to make ever kid in sight want to grow up and have a Lanvin dress of their very own. You’re never too young to fall in love with fashion. And look at how excited Minnie Mouse is! She’s probably swooning so hard, she’s about to fall into Elbaz’s arms!

I guess the party does belong to Mickey and Minnie Mouse, so it does make sense that she’d be in a designer dress. No word yet on whether or not Karl Lagerfeld will be doing anything fancy for Mickey, although I highly doubt it. Mickey might be a little too “fat” for Karl, and we all know how he just loathes anyone over 100 pounds.
