Last night Rosario Dawson walked the gray geometric carpet of New York’s SVA Theater for the Trance premiere, hosted by the Cinema Society & Montblanc. The film co-stars James McAvoy and Vincent Cassel and apparently contains tons of sex and violence. But onto the fashion stuff!
For the premiere, Dawson (‘s stylist) opted for pre-Fall 2013 Bottega Veneta. The salmon pink dress has a fitted mid-length skirt and an asymmetrical neckline, adding up to a cool modern Hitchcock heroine vibe. She rounded out the look with (too matchy) pink pumps and one of Bottega Venata’s beloved clutches, also in a pink hue.
Sadly, we’re none too crazy about those voluminous sleeves:
Then again, how ridiculously beautiful is Rosario Dawson? Her skin is amazing, her hair is so shiny and we’re highly in favor of her makeup: subtle pink cheeks and a cute retro cat’s eye (helping out that Hitchcock thing we mentioned).
All told, we’re kind of on the fence about the fit and we think there’s a little too much overkill in the pink department. Then again, look at this lady:
