For the past week, the TriBeCa Film Festival has been going strong — and that includes its red carpet. Since famous people love getting themselves all sorts of dressed up for any event they will likely be photographed at, the festival’s red carpet held plenty of lovely, weird and fantastic looks. Naturally, there are a couple rather awful ones, but we’ll let you judge that for yourself. Since it comes to a close this weekend, we figured we would show you some of the more noteworthy ones.
Actress Heather Matarazzo looked simple and straightforward (though the shiny shoes add a nice kick to the outfit).
Is anybody else as sick of thick colorblocking as we are? Anna Chlumsky did a bit too much of it, including with her makeup, for the premiere of ”The Battle of amfAR.”
Model Nicole Trunfio‘s look was ill-fitting and paired with shoes that fit in with zero part of the look.
James Franco wore pinstripes and a smug sense of entitlement.
While we’re not super keen on Busy Philipps‘ outfit, she just looks so darn sweet, it’s hard to criticize it.
Evan Rachel Wood‘s floral floor-length dress looked absolutely gorgeous. The hair, the makeup, the lack of accessories…bravo.
While this look is a bit less impressive than the prior one, she still looks fantastic. Even in front of the stupid Diet Pepsi signs!
Olivia Wilde went casual for the occasion.
Alice Eve‘s shoes reflect the upper part of her outfit nicely.
Julie Delpy looked exceptional for the ”Before Midnight” screening. The lip color was perfectly accompanied by a lack of other makeup and just a bit of hairstyling, and the dress fits her wonderfully.
Y so srs, Ethan Hawke? (I’m guessing somebody else showed up in a fedora. Only one per premiere, guys.)
Kate Hudson reminds us of a Coldwater Creek catalogue. This could be good or bad, depending on how you feel about CC. Mostly, she just looks surprisingly comfortable.
Imogen Poots looked very excited for
her first high school dance the ”Greetings From Tim Buckley” premiere.
Charlotte Kemp Muhl brought some 90s grunge to the table.
Are hoof shoes really turning into a thing? If so, I quit fashion. Thanks, Kate Elliott.
Dan Humphrey Penn Badgley looked like his adorable hot hipster self.
