Cinderella has the most famous shoes in the fairytale kingdom, but we all know that when it comes to style, the Disney villainesses have the princesses beat hands-down. And while we never actually get to see their feet (we’re not entirely sure all of them have feet), we imagine them wearing some pretty killer shoes, possibly like these new Disney villainess shoes by Kobi Levi.
Levi tends to be pretty out there—he shod Lady Gaga for her “Born This Way” video—but his newest collection is downright fantastic.
Called Witch-Craft, the new collection was inspired by the bad-ass (and OK, generally bad) ladies of fairy tales, and it looks pretty much like what would happen if all the Disney villainesses were suddenly turned into shoes.
His interpretation is more literal than merely inspired, though. The villainesses’ faces are actually printed inside the shoes. They wouldn’t be visible when worn, but the inspiration is still pretty overt. Right now there are shoes of the Evil Queen from Snow White, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, and the best villainess of all time, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.
The shoes are handcrafted of leather and have towering, cut-away heels. Ursula’s shoes are wound with purple tentacles with white polka dots, and if you’ve ever felt like dressing up your ankles with a crown and cape, the Evil Queen has got you covered. Maleficent is just spikey and brilliant, with a terrifying pointed toe.
We hope he decides to expand the line, though, because we’re pretty sure Cinderella’s stepmother has been hiding some kick-ass shoes under the skirt of that buttoned-up purple dress she’s always wearing.
