5. Space Oddity (In Actual Space)
I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t really care all that much about space exploration (well, besides Star Wars, because I am a human after all), but I have to say: the music video game just got a lot tougher to beat now that gravity-free sets are in the mix. I’ve long-awaited somebody doing performance of “Underground” in an actual labyrinth, so my Bowie quota is met… for the day.
4. Facebook Literally Intrudes On Your Life
At least if these Facebook updates were actually real-life tours you could have someone to scream at in rage, rather than inadvertently break your laptop. Does that not happen to everyone else? But seriously, still like The Gloss on Facebook.
3. Alert Keanu’s Agent: Point Break Remake Possibilities
I would be the first in line to see a Wes Anderson Point Break. Take the reigns! I also kind of wish Keanu had shown up in these parodies. I mean, really — what else is he doing these days? (via Buzzfeed)
2. “Nic Cage,” Just Doing His Thing
Simple, because this involves Nicolas Cage. Need you any more? I bet a studio already has this pitch rolling around in development with Mr. Cage attached. In fact, I actually hope it becomes a side story in National Treasure 8. (via ViralViralVideos)
1. Katy Perry + Rolling Stones = I’m Into It
Started the list with Bowie, ending with The Stones. Maybe I don’t hold Katy Perry to a high bar, but I was impressed. Watch this to remind you that KP’s actually got some rad in her… you know, for the next time you’re embarrassed that one of her inane Top-40 party songs is stuck in your head to the point of no return.
