Daily Video Picks: Prancercize Gets Even Better When Unicorns Are Involved

Now at The Gloss, we’re compiling a list of our favorite internet videos each day, to distract you for a few minutes in the afternoon. Enjoy!

The Gloss Top Video Pick:

1. Prancercizing Is Taking Over – Even Among Unicorns

I still think that Joanna Rohrback (star of the amazing Prancercize promotional video) is awesome, but she has some serious competition with this man who has taken to the streets to Prancercize with a unicorn mask on to the original video’s soundtrack. I mean, it is kind of fitting because Prancercize is described as being “similar to a horse’s gait,” and unicorns are basically jazzier horses (that’s accurate, yes?). (via The Guardian)

2. The Best (Only?) Song About Khakis

Let me take you back to last summer, when a song called “Hot Cheetos and Takis” hit the YouTube airwaves. It was by a group of students in an after-school program and that song was stuck in my head for weeks. Well, the kids are back and this time, the uniform-clad students have prepared a rap with a fashion edge: “Khaki Pants.” It’s random, but so so so catchy. Also, “you can call it a burrito because it’s a wrap” is my new favorite phrase. (via CollegeHumor)

3. A Woman At The Wheel?!

Nothing like a little throwback sexism to end your week, this time brought to you by Goodyear and the perilous threat of women driving. Note the VERY DRAMATIC TONE of this vintage commercial to ensure that you are terrified by the prospect of this lady driver. What is she thinking getting behind the wheel?!? (via Buzzfeed)

4. Presenting “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks”

Here’s the music video for “Ashtrays and Heartbreak,” a collaboration by the artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg and the artist formerly known as Hannah Montana. Will it be your song of the summer? Only you can decide. (via Crushable)

5. Dance Because It’s Friday!

Guys, I can’t get enough of Daft Punk. I want to wear their helmets everywhere this summer as an avant-garde take on sunglasses. I feel like I’ve been sharing a lot of Daft Punk (and dancing) video love, but come on – it’s Friday, just embrace the groove. Have an amazing weekend!

My 10 month old’s newly acquired ability to dance to only Daft Punk has renewed my interest in them. I forgot how much I loved them! Also, all of the recommended videos at the end are pasta dishes. Bonus! Daft Pasta.
