The Gloss Top Video Pick:
1. Vlogger Hart Has Captured Our Hearts (NSFW)
When YouTube commenters got on the lesbian vlogger’s case about how she says she loves women, yet doesn’t dress like them, Hart set out to show everyone why that entire notion is absurd. Her watermelon-inspired response video is total magic, and it better silence those commenters STAT. (via Gawker)
Van Gogh paintings get a cool update in this visual art project that made its way online a couple weeks ago. It brings light and movement to some classic pieces for an interesting new take on the paintings. I can’t quite say that I understand how this was done, but basically think of this as your own mini-trip to the art museum for today… you know, without the dirty looks when you don’t feeling like being bullied into paying the full “suggested donation.”
Remember how 2013 is a great year because Breaking Bad will be back this summer? Well, you still have a couple months left to wait, but what you can have now is Samuel L. Jackson performing one of Walter White’s notable monologues. Plus, he did it for charity, which makes this double awesome. (via Vulture)
Nostalgia time! This Saved By The Bell supercut is just so perfectly ’90s. I don’t know how the fashionable students of Bayside got anything accomplished with all those “oooooOOOOOOooooh” worthy moments that were constantly happening. This video is cheesy, but that’s pretty par for the course with ’90s TV.
I often like to finish off the daily video picks with a nice little earworm. Today, we have a group of guys doing an a capella version of the Game of Thrones theme song. Enjoy!
