I’m going to take a moment to say, once again, that I spend a lot of time feeling bad for Gwyneth Paltrow. I know that she recommends a lot of things like $46,000 quinoa maker for your second butler, but… okay, I’m trying to remember why I have fond feelings towards her. Because she seems to try hard? Yeah, I think that’s it. Because she seems to try hard. There. Well, apparently Jessica Alba does not feel the same way.
Jessica Alba has written a book called The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You. which Radar claims she is marketing “like GOOP, but for the poors like you and me.” Radar says that, according to Alba:
“Gwyneth Paltrow probably lives a very similar lifestyle, but I didn’t grow up with a bunch of money, so my tips are much more grounded: Repurposing things and making things at home.” She said that her book is an honest description of how she handles her life, without the perks of being a successful actress.”
Does this really just all come down to “don’t eat gluten?” Or, “don’t eat any of the things? Don’t eat anything with a flavor even remotely attached to it?” I mean, I’m kind of skeptical about this because, like Gwyneth, Jessica Alba is also a multimillionaire movie star, so I’m not sure that this is going to be perfectly accessible. But I guess it is helpful to at least know how you can repurpose your second butler’s $46,000 quinoa maker, so that’s a good thing.
