Okay, ready or not, here it comes! Kate Middleton has gone into labor at St Mary’s Hospital in London, England.
“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour. The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.”
As of yet, there are no details about the sex of the baby, but the British Parliament is altering a 300-year law stating that regardless of its sex, the child will be heir to British throne. In the near future, after the birth, more information (the baby’s sex, weight and time of birth) will be posted outside Buckingham Palace on an easel.
One can only assume that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are fielding calls right this second from Kris Jenner requesting to use their baby for her own fame prior to it becoming the second most famous child in the world.
Okay, but seriously: here’s to hoping things go well for Kate and this baby. After all the absurd amount of unnecessary coverage, speculation and rumors she’s had surrounding one of the most personal experiences a human being can go to, she (and every other mother, to be fair) deserves it.
