Subway Employees Instagram Penis On Bread And Frozen Pee

While convenient, fast food restaurants are increasingly gross and ridiculous places (or, at the very least, they’re more outright about it). Granted, the food itself has almost always been awful with regard to production and healthiness, but now, it seems that meals are being just plain violated. Really grossly violated.

Two Columbus Subway employees, Cameron Boggs and Ian Jett, were caught doing some rather gnarly things while at work after photos posted to Instagram were tipped off to HuffPost Weird News. Boggs not only posted a photo of his own frozen pee in a water bottle while at work, he also put up a picture of Jett’s penis resting on sandwich bread.

Neither employee seems to understand that social media is intended to be social — meaning, shared all over the place until your employer sees it and penalizes you because customers tend to be biased against dickbread.

“I would never do that at work — it was at home,” Jett said to HuffPost Weird News. “This isn’t something I’d ever do at Subway. It was totally a joke.”

The employees were both fired on Monday and a Subway rep released this statement:

This isolated incident is not representative of SUBWAY Sandwich Artists. These actions are not tolerated and the franchisee took immediate action to terminate the two employees involved.

As for the person who tipped of HuffPost, he had this to say on the matter.

“I saw the frozen piss picture and thought, ‘What is this guy doing?’ Then came the penis picture. They’re stupid enough for doing this in the first place, but then to post it to the world? It was a dumb move.

“I didn’t send these to be vindictive. But something needs to be done. It’s disgusting.”

On the one hand, I find it incredible to see such idiocy in a day and age where we are well aware of the implications that accompany posting personal stuff online — especially with regard to work. On the other, I am thrilled that there is such blatant idiocy, so this type of “sandwich artist” can be fired and we won’t all wind up eating dickbread.

I used to be a manager at a Subway, and I can’t even imagine how furious I would have been at any of my employees had they been stupid enough to ever do this. I get that it’s mostly idiot manchildren who works at Subways because turnover is so high (because you fire the idiot manchildren), but this is above and beyond.

Hey Tania, do you know why they changed from cutting a V into the loaf at the top to just cutting it in half? The V used to keep stuff from falling out.

You can’t fit anywhere near as much into the u-gouge as you can into the other cut. The meat and cheese take up most of the space in the u-gouge, especially if you get the meatball. The good “sandwich artists” know that if you don’t put the meat over the hinge of the bread, the stuff will stay in, but most people are shitty high schoolers who hate you, so they won’t bother.

You can ask them to cut it into the u-gouge, just accept that they will glare at you if you then ask for every vegetable.

Makes sense I guess. I love their meatball sub, and that’s the worst offender for falling apart. Thanks Tania!

What you should do next time you get one is ask them to squish the bread on top into a little gouge, so it becomes a little cup to hold the meatballs. I always ate the meatball sub when I worked there (which is why I was about 30 pounds heavier then. :D), and that was the best way to eat the meatball sub, even better than the u-gouge. Squished in top half of the bread.

Why are people doing dumb shit to food? Do they do this at home? This is such a weird and disgusting trend by humans on FOOD!
