Ever feel like there just aren’t enough means by which to feel awful about yourself? And how about your dog? Has that cocky brat been getting on your nerves with all that talk of “the dog park loves me” and “I am going to make fetch happen”? Well, it’s time for a change, folks! It’s time for NuBeginnings person/pooch fat camp.
This “retreat” provides dogs and owners with luxury room and board, massages, personal trainer sessions, organic meals and therapy — for both of you. A spokesperson from the company said this:
“With the moral support of your dog, the course will provide a mental and physical overhaul for both Fido and his owner to lose weight.”
The cost? A cool $5K each week, which is a
small ridiculously huge amount to pay to get yourself and your dog in better shape.
NuBeginnings was started by Victoria Evans, a weight loss specialist who previously ran retreats for exclusively people until she found out one-fourth of all dogs in the UK are overweight. So, what’s an entrepreneur to do besides create a program that charges incredible amounts of money so rich people can feel good about how they neglected to bring Clifford on a walk for six years?
Of course, if you are in the United Kingdom and wanna drop $5000 on a weeklong vacation for yourself and your dog after you’ve destroyed all the Halloween candy (not so fun-size now, eh? EH?), stop by NuBeginnings between November 15th – 22nd.
