Red Carpet Rundown: Julianne Moore, Chloë Moretz, Black & White At The LACarrie Premiere

Premiere Of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures & Screen Gems' "Carrie" - Arrivals

They did a remake of Carrie–no, unfortunately we still have to wait for a screen adaptation of the horror classic’s infamously dreadful musical (we’d settle for a novelization of that, though). The new version stars Julianne Moore, Chloë Grace Moretz and probably some high school aged people also. We love gritty reboots of things, so we hope it’s a gritty reboot.

Anyway, here’s what they wore on the red carpet at last night’s premiere in LA.

It will always be jarring to see Judy Greer dressed like a sophisticated lady and not flashing her new breast implants.

Actress Jessica Parker Kennedy wore studded white.

Apparently attendees had a directive to wear only black, white or green–Katie Strain and Karissa Strain followed it.

Moretz looked gorgeous in Valentino.

Speaking of gorgeous, Julianne Moore was in the vicinity. In white Givenchy, this time.

Tamara Braun‘s look was confusing on a few levels.

We have nothing against Portia Doubleday’s outfit, but the over-the-top beauty seems off for an otherwise minimal look.

It’s unusual for a red carpet to be predominately… good.
