15 Badass Ankle Boots At Every Price Point

ankle boots

Ankle boots are all over the place this fall, from street style blogs to It-girls to my personal folder of things I desperately want to own. They can range widely in terms of price and quality, so I rounded up a total of 15 ankle boots at multiple price points so you can have your pick.

I love ankle boots because they’re easy to wear and walk in, and they look witchy-cool and effortless. They tend to make my otherwise shlumpy wardrobe look put together and even—dare I say it—hip.

I stuck with black because that’s where I tend to gravitate towards and it seems like it would have the most universal appeal, but many of these styles come in multiple colors.

Let’s start with medium heels, which are like wearing high heels but easier.

Modernist Block Heel Booties, Forever 21, $36.80

A quick note about these boots: I own ‘em! When I saw them online, I thought they looked kind of cheap, and I won’t lie, I was put off by the idea of buying something for a teen brand. But I stumbled across them in a DSW two weeks ago and was surprised at how sturdy they were and how leather-like the fake stuff felt. I ended up buying them and wearing them nearly every day.
