Kate Middleton And Prince George Wore Adorable Matching Outfits To His Christening

People who match outfits are almost always annoying, like when couples who live together do it and insist it was an accident. But sometimes, it is okay. For example, when Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen used to do it, it was adorable (almost always). Now, the Royals have gotten in on the game with Kate Middleton adorably matching Prince George‘s outfit for his christening!

Prince William, Middleton and Queen Elizabeth II were all present, among others, for the baby’s christening ceremony. Middleton wore a beautiful cream-colored knee-length dress with gorgeous ruffling around the collar down to her waist. For her headware, she picked a matching cream hat with a lovely mesh accent tilted to the side and smooth, sleek hair.

LONDON, ENGLAND – OCTOBER 23: Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge talk to Queen Elizabeth II (obscured) as they arrive, holding their son Prince George, at Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace, ahead of the christening of the three month-old Prince George of Cambridge by the Archbishop of Canterbury on October 23, 2013 in London, England. As for the baby, Prince George was dressed in a traditional christening gown, which looked ultra-cute because he is a baby and babies look cute in everything. He looks a little judgmental (as babies tend to adorably do), but this picture is just heartwarming in general. It has also reminded me that that baby will grow up wearing fancier stuff than most of us will have in our weddings.

Was the title of this bit meant to read, “Kate Middleton and Prince George Wore Adorable Matching Outfits To His Christening”? Me thinks Prince Charles was christened long ago.

        The baby is named Charles.

      • whiteroses

His name is actually George Alexander Louis. No Charles in there.

Oh well, yeah, that’s a major fuck up then.

        1) Thank you so much for pointing that out, my brain is clearly twerking itself with Wednesday idiocy.
        2) It would be f’ing hilarious if Prince Charles wore a christening gown today to match Kate Middleton.

They’re a good looking couple, so it should be no surprise, but that is an especially good looking baby. If he were anyone but a royal, they’d probably have him modeling.

I’m surprised his great-grandma can keep herself from pinching those chubby lil’ cheeks.

Lookitallthelace! And the ruffles! *squeeeeee* Adorable.

Okay … firstly, the royal baby was baptised not christened (in the Church of England it’s called baptism).
Secondly, the Duchess of Cambridge’s name is not Kate Middleton (it hasn’t been since she got married).
      Please Mommyish, get it right!

Matching outfits…is that suppose to be a joke?

Kate’s suit and George’s christening outfit were not matching, just complementing colors. Kate looked radiant.
