Rihanna And Drake’s Amazing Strip Club Date Cost More Than Your College (And Was More Fun)

We all know that Drake is a far better friend/human than Chris Brown, so many people have been rejoicing that Rihanna has been hanging out with him instead of Mr. Shits In Women’s Retinas. But it’s Rihanna and Drake’s recent date at a strip club that has me high-fiving both of them.

According to E!, Rihanna and Drake showed up separately to a Houston strip club, then got cozy:

“I bet you want to be sitting with Drake, right?” [lead stripper Jhonni] Blaze said she overheard a security guard asking Rihanna, who smiled and said yes.

And once they were together, they “looked like a couple,” sat very close to each other and were even dressed alike, Blaze recalled. She said the two were “really cool people” and that Rihanna even gave her advice about her budding singing career, telling the dancer to “dream big” and not be afraid to put herself out there.

Jhonni danced for Drake and Rihanna for a full three hours, which makes me wonder if she’s secretly an Olympian, and she and RiRi bonded over their partially shaved hairstyles while Drake was “busy throwing money.” Oh, speaking of which, they dropped $17,000. Jhonni alone took home $10,000 of that. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t swear excitedly while jumping up and down after finding an extra $5 in my coat pocket, let alone (SO FAR ALONE) feel wealthy enough to drop en entire semester’s tuition money.

Anyway, while I think it’s safe to say Drake and Rihanna’s date is by no means the norm for a strip club experience, I do think it’s pretty great that they went together (whether they’re friends or partners). When I lived in Portland, I used to go to the strip clubs all the time with my then-boyfriend and/or friends. In PDX, there are so many great ones (including a vegan one!) full of really nice employees and solid work environments. Plus, it’s a really entertaining way to explore your sexuality and gain new experiences — provided you’re being respectful and not the kind of douchebag who sits at the front and tries to sneak out of putting at least $1 down per song — so Rihanna and Drake’s date sounds pretty damn appealing to me.

$17,000? I can’t get my head around that!

I’m still trying to wrap my head around the idea of a vegan strip club.

IT’S AWESOME. They also only give you money in $2 bills.

I really need to know how can a strip club be vegan. Is it the snacks? Am I missing a sexual innuendo? D:

I totally forgot to explain that! Now I understand the confusion, haha. In Portland, all places that serve alcohol are required to serve food, so all strip clubs have food (some more decent than others). At that particular strip club, everything was vegan!
