5 Amazing Wirefree Bras To Make Your Boobs Sing With Joy

I’m known as something of an expert when it comes to bra shopping in my circle of friends. A boob-master, if you will (and I do). As a well-endowed woman I’ve gone through my fair share of trials and tribulations (triboob-lations?) over years, and I’ve definitely learned a lot about what makes a great bra.

One thing I’ve always hated are bras with an underwire. They’re itchy, they get mangled in the wash, if you’re too lazy to hand wash them (which I am) and even with highest quality bra, that sucker will eventually pop out and stab you in the breasticle. Not fun. So whenever possible, I choose an underwire-free bra.

But how do you find a supportive bra with a 34 E chest, you may ask? First of all, how do you know my breast side, you creep-o? Second, it’s not as hard as you might imagine. Supportive non-underwire bras do exist. I should know, I’ve owned basically every bra, ever. Below I’ve listed the top five best wirefree bras I’ve ever worn. Because every boobie deserves to be poke-free (unless you’re into that sort of thing).

5. Simply Perfect Invisible Wire-Free Bra (Warners)

This is one of the most comfortable bras I have ever owned. It’s soft, supportive and looks great under a t-shirt. The one and only issue I ever had is that the straps do not adjust, which was hard for me, since I have a strangely long torso. I ended up tailoring them myself, but the ten minutes that took were well worth it for the long lasting comfort. This bra makes my boobs sing with joy.

4. Bali Comfort Revolution Wirefree Bra

This bra may look deceiving if you have a large bust like I do. The key to this bra is to get it a size or two smaller than you normally would, because it stretches and will stretch out after wearing it for a while. The straps are a bit wider than your typical bra, so while it’s not great for a cami, it works well with t-shirts or other blouses and will definitely get you through the workday in comfort.

3. Barely There Women’s Customflex Fit Lightly Lined Stripe Wirefree Bra

This is another possibly-deceiving bra, which will probably be a theme in this post. These bras use a small, medium and large sizing system rather than the traditional one, but I swear that it works. As a woman with maximum boobage but a relatively small band size (again, 34 E you pervs), I make a completely counter-intuitive move and buy a size small. The band size works great for me at this size, and the cups stretch and offer excellent support. Your milage may vary however, and I suggest trying them on and finding what works for you.

2. La Perla New Invisible Non Wire Contour Triangle Bra 905800

This is one of the only legitimate triangle bras that has ever worked for me, and it seems to be one that works great for women with large or small breasts. A friend of mine is a 32 A and she loves hers as much as I love mine, so I think we’ve found a winner. Because how often does that happen?

1. Victoria’s Secret Lace Bralette

best wirefree bras

Victoria’s Secret

I’ll let you in on a little secret (shhhhhh). I’m wearing one of these right now. These are my go-to bras for day-to-day stuff and for a bralette, they offer a surprising amount of support. The one thing I was most worried about before wearing this was the dreaded UNI-BOOB OF DOOM, but it hasn’t been a problem at all. The best part? I have the best cleavage when I wear these puppies. My husband approves heartily.

I’ve never thought about doing a bralette given my bigger bust, but you’ve given me confidence!

I didn’t either, until I drunk-bought one on New Year’s Eve last year (#Klassy). The key is to get one a size smaller than you think you’ll need so it’s tight enough to support you. I get great support. I would’ve posted a pic, but this isn’t a porn site. lol

I had high hopes for this, but I’m a 28F, so none of these will work for me :(
I did try the Freya Deco wirefree (as I love the original Deco so much), and it gives fantastic shape. However, the band is so rough and uncomfortable, my skin was red raw within a minute of wearing it! Back to the drawing board for me…

Try a Coobie bra! It is a much better version of the “Ahh Bra” type things that are all over the place right now. Coobie makes a few different versions, and I love love love them. Most comfortable bra ever!

I looooooooooove my underwire bras. In fact that’s all I buy now, but you are tempting me with that bralette, so pretty!

ETA: I looked up the bralette, boo my boobs are too big for them. :/
