Newest Stupid Disney Makeover Puts Princesses In Porn (NSFW)

Artist Dillon Boy has created perhaps the most provocative versions of the Disney Princesses yet, with his version of the girls as porn stars. This whole gamut of redrawing Disney princesses and princes has the potential to be a fascinating look at the tropes we accept at normal, and has seen just about ever iteration possible (including disabled princesses, bearded princes, and the Anne Frank version). In his series called “Dirtyland,” the princesses pose naked and seductively in what looks like an issue of Playboy gone very, very wrong. It’s not a new idea and it’s somewhat over the top, but it’s sure to garner a reaction from people who haven’t figured out that Disney princesses are already sex symbols.

There’s a limit to how graphic these are going to get–they’re still cartoons after all. There’s no hardcore sex happening, and quite honestly, if you hadn’t told me these were supposed to be “porn stars,” I would have just thought the Princesses took their clothes off. The Huffington Post interviewed Boy about his series, and the impetuous for taking off the princesses clothing.

I think it has something to do with how we are conditioned as children. Everything is sweet and make-believe in the beginning but then our innocence is soon lost along the way. These Princesses are already beautiful little cartoons but I just had to take it to the next level. I wanted to transform these celebrated and graceful little ladies into illustrious full blown sex symbols.

I love when people take it to the next level. Going from pretty princess to porn star seems like it skipped a few levels, but I get what he’s saying. If we’re going to get technical here, though, I think Disney princesses are already sex symbols, albeit sex symbols watered down for kids. Even fully clothed, they still sell the basic idea that women are pretty, dressed up creatures to be looked at, doted upon, and saved, which really isn’t all that different from any woman treated as a sex object.

Maybe these would have been more shocking if they weren’t cartoons, but then again I’m sure actual Disney princess porn is out there for your viewing pleasure. I’m not sure how effective these are as shocking statements, but are fun to look at, if you’re a big perv like me.

I sort of get what the artist is going for, but at the same time I can’t help but think that this is unnecessary. Why prove the point that Disney princesses are sexualized by sexualizing them even more? Don’t we already have Disney princess-type porn out there, anyway?
Regardless of the point the artist is trying to make I think a ton of people will misinterpret this as just another person scandalizing the Disney image.

Just throwing this out there, but I highly doubt Merida would be pubic hair free.

I wouldn’t call this porn, I’d call it more like nude modeling. They’re just naked, they’re not performing any sexual activity.

To have a ‘won’t someone think of the children’ moment I’m not really a fan of using children’s media in adult ways. But who knows in a world of bronies maybe I am just on edge about keeping our (all things considered positive) media for little girls centered on them.

Can I point out the ages on these women. Outside of Cinderella and Tiana, the others are all sixteen and younger.
