Disappointed that some of your favorite stars weren’t nominated for any Oscars? At least Vanity Fair understands. The magazine set up an Instagram booth at their post-Academy Awards party, resulting in your chance to see the writers, TV stars, singers, and comedians who got left out of the big event. Here are some of the best photos!
This one might as well become the movie poster for the Mindy Kaling and BJ Novak rom-com I’ve been hoping for. They broke up a long time ago and they’re just best friends, but look at how well those outfits compliment each other! You’re killing me, guys.
I don’t know how Selena Gomez manages to look simultaneously sexy and like a little cherub, but here’s another perfect example of it. That dress. That dress.
My favorite Hollywood couple, Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt, look super hot and super Mad Men. The latter wore an Ines Di Santo gown and it looked incredible on her.
This one of Paul Rudd and Adam Scott looks a little bit like a homoerotic scene from Spring Awakening, and I’m not going to pretend I hate it.
Leave it to Sofia Vergara to outshine the nominees. I can’t imagine that dress being comfortable, but I’m sure stuff like that doesn’t matter when you’re a flawless human specimen.
My imaginary parents Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow look amazing, as per usual. I’m pretty sure this is the perfect visual representation of their relationship.
Here’s Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo looking effortless and unbelievable at the same time. What else is new?
While all of these are gorgeous, I keep picturing the party-planning meeting where someone came up with the idea. “How do we entertain a bunch of movie stars? What do movie stars like? Pictures of themselves?” (If I’ve learned anything from following selfie queen Kim Kardashian, it’s that the only thing famous people like more than attending fancy parties is spending the whole time ignoring the party and trying to look good in front of an iPhone camera.) Either way, I’m glad someone captured last night’s unsung heroes in their glitzy finery. Can I borrow that gown, Leslie Mann?
