Even though playing Hermione ruined her childhood, the Harry Potter film adaptations are what made Emma Watson‘s career blow up as quickly as it did. That, and how seamlessly she evolved into a massive style icon who’s great in interviews and incredible on the red carpet. Perfect example: that gorgeous Oscar de la Renta gown from the Noah premiere. Speaking of premieres, let’s all take a walk down memory lane and check out every look Emma wore at the Harry Potter premieres, shall we?
1. Harry Potter & The Sorcerer’s Stone
Girl looks like Peter Pan and I love it.
2A. Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets London Premiere
My favorite thing about this is that it is lavender. My least favorite is that I didn’t own it at age 12.
2B. Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets New York Premiere
2C. Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets Los Angeles Premiere
Evening wear + casual wear.
3A. Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban New York Premiere
The third installment saw a slightly more dressy, but still casual, look.
3B. Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban London Premiere
She somehow discovered the glory that is burgundy at such a young age. Past Me is very jealous.
4A. Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire London Premiere
It looks like a pillow design, but a very fancy pillow design.
4B. Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire New York Premiere
She even did a wash of matching blue eyeshadow. She is adorable.
5. Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix Los Angeles Premiere
It’s very white.
And had a cape!
6A. Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince London Premiere
Is it odd that she reminds me of Helen Mirren here? I feel like this is something she would wear.
6B. Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince New York City Premiere
I’m not a big fan of leather tops (or skirts, or anything else, really) but this silhouette is nice.
7A. Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1 London Premiere
7B. Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1 New York Premiere
I like the London premiere’s dress better, but as far as red carpets go, she’s still golden.
8A. Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2 London Premiere
I just can’t over how beautiful this gown was.
8B. Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2 New York Premiere
The color of this dress is exceptionally beautiful, but I feel like pictures don’t do the dress justice. It fits her so well.
So, which is your favorite look? I’d have to say mine is 8A, in all its fluffy glory.
