Kaley Cuoco Chops Her Hair Into An Adorable Bob, And She Promises This Time Isn’t A Prank

So remember when Kaley Cuoco super impressively punk’d us all by pretending she cut her hair into a bob, and we were all like “wow, cool prank?” Somewhat bizarre prank aside, Cuoco’s fake choppy bob looked amazing, so much so that The Gloss staff and I wondered why she didn’t actually go for it IRL. Well, our hair prayers have been answered (and let me assure you, we’ve all lost significant sleep over this), because it seems like Cuoco actually went for it this time. She looks freaking fantastic.

I don’t know when I’m going to get tired of these choppy, overgrown bob things that keep trotting around town, but today is not that day. It seems to be universally flattering (see: Jennifer Lawrence‘s recovery from the pixie crisis), and always feels fresh. It just seems to say “ahhhh, winter is finally over.” Additionally, she lightened things up a bit towards the ends, and I never thought I’d say this, but I’m a pretty big fan of that reverse-ombre situation. Life is nothing if not surprising.

Something about these pictures is making my shoulder-length curls are start to feel a little long. Seeing all these adorable pictures of Cuoco’s new cut and lightened up color makes me want to take a pair of scissors to my own hair (or pay someone who’s actually qualified to do it so I don’t look like a big idiot). Springtime is in full swing and I want to get rid of whatever winter is still attached to my hair. Does that make any sense at all? It doesn’t have to. Kaley understands me.

Oh god, this is convincing me even more than usual to chop off all my hair and bleach it. Crap.

I really really like this cut. Not a pixie, but still short and styled. she looks great!

I guess I beat the trend, got mine chopped three weeks ago.

I love it. So much more flattering and modern. (I’m just glad this cut is catching on- I chopped mine last year and it’s just now starting to look like a lob, finally.)
