Just Look At Will Ferrell Wearing A Tiara To His High School Prom. Look At It.

Yes, you read that title correctly: Will Ferrell wore a tiara to his high school dance. A tiara and a tux, as one does. Reddit user acidr4in posted the photo to /r/pics and my goodness, it is pretty fantastic. Check it out:

First of all: of course he did. This is such a Will Ferrell thing to do, it is almost too much to handle. Second: his date was adorable! She looks like she had freckles. Freckles are the best thing in the world, and therefore, she is the best thing. I am admittedly unsure as to why she is carrying a sparkly feather duster, but to each her own when it comes to prom.

To be completely honest, I have rarely found Will Ferrell particularly funny because I think he plays almost identical characters over and over again. There are only so many times I can see him make this face:

And there are only so many times I can say to myself, “But he was so good as Mugatu!” before I have to just come to terms with the fact that his epic part as Zoolander‘s villain does not make up for how lame most of the rest of his projects are. That said, I am SO DOWN with this whole tiara business, even if it essentially proves what I’ve thought all along (that he was just another desperate-for-attention theater kid, which is okay because I probably would have had a huge crush on him when I was 16). I think it looks excellent on his crown of funny man curls.

I used to! I wish he had done Old School and then quit. Then I would have nothing but fond memories.

That looks like flowers… instead of a feather duster. Maybe she won prom queen? It’s a cute picture.
