Only Jennifer Lawrence Could Pull Off Wearing A Beard On The Tonight Show

You can go ahead and add one point to the “Jennifer Lawrence is the most fun person in the business” column–she showed up last night to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon wearing a hilarious blond beard. Apparently, since we’ve all been so fixated on her hair (duh), she decided to give us something new to talk about. I love it, and I want this to become Lawrence’s trademark. I want to see a different beard at every press event for the next year, at least. Is that so much to ask?

In addition to her facial hair, she looked fantastic in a Victoria Beckham dress and Jimmy Choo shoes, and that grown out bob is really starting to shape up nicely. I love the messiness of it–it’s so much more relaxed than her first try with that Kate Gosselin look. It’s hair that matches her personality (which is totally a thing, I promise); like her, it’s a little off, young, fun, and laid back. If she were to have a trademark hair style à la The Rachel, this would be it.

Given that Lawrence is making the rounds promoting her new movie X-Men: Days Of Future Past, we should have ample opportunity to see a much larger assortment of fake facial hair. If she’d be so willing as to indulge us, she could even be our modern day Hatshepsut, and show how powerful she is with a fake beard.

Lawrence took care of the creepy, overgrown goatee, but I want to see a full on lumberjack situation, a Salvador Dali mustache, mutton chop side burns, a Tom Selleck mustache, and a giant beard that could only belong to a wizard. Fingers crossed that she busts one out on a red carpet, too.

This totally is a thing. You can always tell when somebody gets that one haircut and it’s like WHOA GIRL. LOOK AT YOU. THAT IS YOU. (Short hair was not mine, but I’m desperately hoping a bob will someday be.)
