This Dress Proves That Sarah Silverman Has Officially Evolved From Goofball To Style Icon

Premiere Of Universal Pictures And MRC's "A Million Ways To Die In The West" - Arrivals

Sarah Silverman has always been laugh-out-loud funny, undeniably talented, and exceptionally good at shocking the masses, but she only recently added “style icon” to her resumé. We were surprised to see her make our best dressed list from the 2013 AMAs, and even more shocked when she did it again, stealing the show at the 2014 Met Gala. It’s not that we didn’t think she was capable of looking good– she’s always been pretty– but it seems like she’s seriously stepped up her game in the fashion department. Sarah dazzled on the red carpet at today’s premiere for A Million Ways to Die in the West, and we’re still pulling our jaws off the ground.

Wearing a short white Prada dress, blue suede shoes, and a yellow Prada clutch, Sarah looked so mature and sophisticated that fans of her early comedy career would find her almost unrecognizable. I love the way her dark hair looks against the white dress, and I think she made the right decision to keep it sleek, straight, and understated. The sweetheart neckline does wonders for her chest, and the high waist makes her legs look like they could take over the world. I never would have predicted that Sarah Silverman could out-dress her costar, Amanda Seyfried, and if I weren’t so partial to black lace, I’d even say she looks better than Charlize Theron. We’ll just call it a tie.

I’m not sure what influenced this sudden change in style, but it’s working. We’ve been loving the way Sarah’s chosen to use her fame to promote causes she believes in, and she seems to be really coming into her own in her 40s. We still loved her in jeans and t-shirts, but this grownup version of her is seriously show-stopping.

Is it weird that I’m even more impressed with her because I don’t feel like she has a stylist? I mean, unless she only recently hired one. I just feel like she’s the kind of person who learned style tips and caught onto what fancier stuff she likes for red carpet events on her own.

I was so shocked when I saw her at this year’s Met Gala, she looked the best I’ve ever seen her. Definitely one of the best dressed of the night.
