The Best Dressed List Of The Cannes Film Festival Stars Jennifer Lawrence And All Your Favorite People

"Two Days, One Night" Premiere - The 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival

The 2014 Cannes Film Festival just wrapped up, and I for one will be pretty sad to see it go. Cannes collects some of the very best red carpets of the year, with some looks surpassing even the Met Gala for creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. This year’s crop was pretty good, with a lot of our favorite people.

So who made the best-dressed list for the 2014 Cannes Film Festival? These people did:

Jennifer Lawrence‘s Dior crop top and mini skirt were a perfect day look at Cannes. We even loved the metallic silver pointy-toed shoes.

"Clouds Of Sils Maria" Premiere - The 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Only Chloe Grace Moretz could wear a Chanel haute couture gown that looks this much like a feather duster and still look like the most stylish person in the room.
"The Homesman" Premiere - The 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival

I’m a sucker for Sonam Kapoor‘s giant panniers. How can you not love a dress that is wider than it is tall? "Clouds Of Sils Maria" Premiere - The 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Uma Thurman‘s yellow Versace dress is just amazing. "Two Days, One Night" Premiere - The 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival Has anyone checked to see that Beyoncé is OK? Because it looks like Aishwarya Rai has stolen her mojo. She absolutely owned the day in this shiny gold Roberto Cavalli gown that would have been about 90% too much dress for anybody else.Closing Ceremony & "Fistful Of Dollars" Screening - The 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival Uma Thurman’s on here twice, because this Marchesa dress looks like it is being held on with birds. (I loved it when Cecil Beaton did it in Gigi, and I love it here.)"The Search" Photocall - The 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival Berenice Bejo looks so … you know, nevermind. Everyone just stop what you’re doing and go buy a white romper, orange sandals, and turquoise bracelet on the Internet right now. We’ll wait, and your summer will be better for it. "Saint Laurent" Premiere - The 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival Lea Seydoux is not kidding around with the red carpet glamour this year, and that color is wonderful. Chopard Trophy - The 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Cate Blanchett dresses so well she is basically a verb at this point, and she is Cate Blanchetting the hell out of Cannes this year.

Marion Cotillard Maison Martin Margiela Beaded Couture Dress Two Days One Night Cannes

Marion Cotillard made a weird, conceptual Maison Martin Margiela runway dress look stunningly wearable, and we loved it.

I’ve been going back and forth for days now on whether or not Irina Shayk‘s wild Versace look deserves a place on this list. It’s so weird! But it’s so beautifully crafted. But it’s so weird! But she looks like a superhero … finally I decided that any dress capable of occupying my thoughts for days wins by default. The worst sin of fashion is being boring, and this dress is so not boring it’s even supplanted Shayk’s ridiculously attractive, completely naked boyfriend as the first thing we think of when we hear her name.

Nice to see such a variety of amazing looks. I loved Jennifer Lawrence’s Dior top and skirt.

I know this was a best of list, but I love how positive it was. Cate Blanchett being a verb is the best fashion blog line I have ever read! :)
