Jennifer Lawrence’s Fake Tan Makes Her Almost Unrecognizable At Paris Fashion Week

Jennifer Lawrence's Fake Tan Makes Her Almost Unrecognizable At Paris Fashion WeekThe above person is Jennifer Lawrence. While you may have already been able to guess that due to her name being right there in the title, I am unsure if I would recognize her on the street with this very deep, very orange tan.

Jennifer was attending the Christian Dior show at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week in a black and white ensemble that included a formfitting, backless Dior dress with black and white heels. Her shoes coordinated well with her purse, which in turn matched up with her dress, but something was amiss: her makeup.

Jennifer Lawrence's Fake Tan Makes Her Almost Unrecognizable At Paris Fashion WeekIt appears that J. Law suffered from a fake tanning malfunction that led to her face developing an almost Alex Mack-esque tone.

Her frosty lipstick, shimmery pale eyeshadow and thinner-than-usual brows only emphasized just how atypical this complexion shade is for the actress. If she had been standing next to Valentino, perhaps this would have been less noticeable. On the bright side, her hair looked lovely with carefree waves and an unstructured elegance.

Lately, we have been doing a lot of double takes! From Renee Zellweger to Hugh Jackman to Lark Voorhies (AKA Lisa Turtle), it seems the stars are showing up to events and making it so we don’t even recognize them there. Changing up your look is great sometimes! (Especially if it is for a role, as is the case with Mr. Jackman.) That said, it is difficult to keep our already-crowded mental celebrity database up-to-date when these folks keep changing how they look so very dramatically. At least wear name tags, guys.

They say that white does enhance a tan.

You can kind of see her normal skin tone trying to creep out around her scalp.

Yikes on bikes! That frosted makeup is doing her no favors either.

Love the dress, hate those shoes!

I’ve done the bad tanning before. Always sucks. Although at least I didn’t have people reporting on how much I messed up.

I don’t think the tan would be so bad if her makeup wasn’t so pale and frosty – bolder eyebrows, and pinker cheeks and lips would’ve made a HUGE difference.
