Even though there are plenty of other famously fashionable sisters out there, I think Elle and Dakota Fanning are quickly closing in on the title of “Best Dressed Siblings.” This weekend, Elle proved once again that she’s already willing to take risks, even as a young teenager.

At the San Diego Comic-Con panel for The Boxtrolls, for which she is the voice of ‘Winnie,’ Elle wore a funky coral dress from Christopher Kane‘s Resort 2015 Collection. The dress is fun, especially when you realize it’s made out of flower appliques and isn’t just a print. She paired the look with coordinating coral high heels and, oh my goodness, some seriously excellent makeup. Check it out:

How great is that? The bright yellow eyeliner is a fun shock of color that brightens up the whole look and feels totally Comic-Con appropriate, while the shape of the liner is a modern take on the typical cat eye. Plus, Elle is just a teenager (a highly-successful, incredibly well-dressed teenager, but a teenager nonetheless); now is the time she should be experimenting with weird makeup trends and colors. Considering it’ll probably be done by pro makeup artists, it will undoubtedly look better than whatever absurd Hot Topic products I scribbled all over my face back in the day. And in the San Diego sunshine, the makeup looks just as lovely.

With Dakota wearing cool Chanel feather dresses and Elle wearing embroidered Alexander McQueen gowns that take our collective breath away, it’s exciting to think that they’re only 20 and 16, respectively, so they’re just getting started on their careers as intelligent, stylish actors.

I don’t think many people could pull this off other than Elle, but I like the way she contrasted her makeup with her dress.
