There are many things that we know about Kim Kardashian. Two of the most obvious are that she loves taking selfies as evidenced here, here, and here, and the second, is that she is a keen businesswoman and can turn anything into a multi-million dollar success. That is why Kim’s latest business venture is perfect, because it combines the two of these. Kim has decided to turn her massive selfie collection into a book. Yes, that is right folks, Instagram isn’t good enough for her photos now. She wants them in print. (Or paint.)
According to Fader, Kim has signed a deal with Rizzoli, aka the people who produce the $80 coffee table tomes you love flipping through. They will publish a 352 page book of a selection of selfies. The hard cover book is entitled “Selfish” and will be available for an affordable $19.99. You can already pre-order your copy on Amazon, where it is only $16.55. Before you add the book to your Christmas list, sadly, it doesn’t come out until April 7, 2015. By the time that rolls around, Kim will probably have enough selfies to fill at least three more massive tomes. She did say on a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that she took 1,200 selfies on their trip to Thailand alone. I can already see multiple, more niche sequels to the book. The follow-up would be the Kimye wedding, of course, then there would be the Kim and Kanye West dressing like twins selfie book. Be prepared for a Kardashian selfie section coming to a Barnes & Noble near you.
