SoulCycle Is Collaborating With Target on a Clothing Line That’s Actually Affordable

It’s been a minute since Target‘s come out with a great collaboration. The last we heard, they were teaming up with BaubleBar for a tech collab that, I’ll admit, I was obsessed with for a longer period of time than is probably normal. And really, what’s not to love? Collaborations with amazing brands and designers at wonderfully low Target prices? I can dig it. That’s why I’m so excited about their latest collaboration: Target and spin studio SoulCycle are spinning off their very own capsule collection

Not only is this news exciting for me, personally, as a spinning advocate, but it’s great news for anyone for whom getting in shape or getting healthy was a New Year’s resolution. Target EVP and Chief Marketing Officer Jeff Jones told Well + Good,

“Helping our guests succeed in their wellness journey is an important priority for Target. As we enter this new year, we wanted to bring the same level of excitement to wellness that typically comes to life through our partnerships with top entertainers and designers. When we thought about the most premier fitness brands, SoulCycle was at the top of our list.”

SoulCycle co-founders Julie Rice and Elizabeth Cutler elaborated,

“SoulCycle embodies the inspirational and active lifestyle that Target is celebrating as part of its focus on wellness. We’re thrilled to be working with Target to bring SoulCycle to more people and help them find joy in movement to kick off the New Year.”

The capsule collection includes two shirts, a sweatshirt, and sweatpants, all of which retail for under $50, available exclusively on Target.com.  If you’re sitting there thinking that that’s still on the pricier side of things as far as Target is concerned, keep in mind that some of the more popular pieces in SoulCycle’s official apparel line range in price form $64 for a muscle tee to $158 for a sweatshirt. As great as official spin studio workout clothes tend to be (I’m a FlyWheel girl myself, and I love my Fly tank), they’re ridiculously overpriced.

But Target and SoulCycle aren’t stopping at just a capsule collection: they’re partnering up for a nationwide tour of free pop-up classes in Washington DC, Houston, Seattle, Atlanta, Nashville, Denver, Miami, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Los Angeles from January 14 to February 14. Each city will host six free 40-bike classes per day, and you can sign up for bikes (and get more details) on Well + Good.
