It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day, and you know what that means: green beer, green clothes, and a whole lot of really bad “kiss me even though I’m not Irish” jokes. To be honest, I don’t really care all that much about this holiday. I’m not Irish, I don’t like beer, and I don’t want strange men coming up to me requesting that I kiss them, whether they’re Irish or not. What I do like, though, is any reason to watch holiday-themed makeup tutorials, so that’s how I’ll be celebrating St. Patty’s Day this year.

If you’d like to do the same, or if you’re actually going out and want to do more than just slap a shamrock sticker on your cheek, here are five easy tutorials that’ll help you feel as lucky as a leprechaun. If you need me, I’ll be shoving fistfuls of Lucky Charms down my throat.

1. A Bold Smokey Eye

For the girl who takes St. Patrick’s Day seriously and will actually spend her entire evening out partying. More power to you, girl. I’ll just be in bed at 10pm like the grandma I am.

2. The Rainbow That Leads To A Pot Of Gold

Because the only thing that screams “St. Patrick’s Day” more than a four-leaf clover of the drunk frat guy at the pub literally screaming “St. Patrick’s Day” is a rainbow.

3. Festive Lips

Really, any excuse to wear an unconventional lip color is fine with me.

4. Subtle Daytime Liner

The perfect makeup for a St. Patrick’s Day-themed drunk brunch. If you really want to keep it subtle, nix the subtle eye contouring and just wear a nude base instead.

5. Shamrock Nails

Surprise: there are only so many St. Patrick’s Day tutorials out there, and I didn’t want to get too repetitive in my little guide. So, rather than give you a fifth makeup tutorial, you get a special bonus nail art video! Lucky you!
