But the supermodel has a surprise new gig: fronting the Always Platinum Collection, the poshest maxi pad (!) from Always, which boasts a “silk-like top-sheet and super-absorbent gel.”
Maxi pads, we reckon, are a very tricky product to promote–first off, where do they get all that blue gel that stands in for your shameful menstrual blood?–so it makes sense the company would want a beautiful, glamorous Brazilian supermodel fronting its campaign.
We’re just surprised that a beautiful, glamorous Brazilian supermodel would take the gig–what with periods and stuff being the #1 thing that alienates her young male fanbase?
Maybe Ambrosio just doesn’t think periods are gross and embarrassing? And thought it would be a really positive thing, aligning her sexy, glamorous self with feminine hygiene products?
