Beautyblender Liner DesignOut of all the beauty techniques there are to master, drawing on a perfect cat eye is the one you probably want to master the most. Naturally, it’s also one of the hardest to get right. In our attempts to get flawless eyeliner a la Lauren Conrad, we will try just about any hack, from tape to spoons. Even if you get one eye right, it’s even more of a challenge to get the other one to reasonably match. Ugh. Thankfully, the good people at Beautyblender understand our frustrations, and they are doing something about it thanks to the Beautyblender Liner Designer.

Beautyblender uploaded the above photo to Instagram of the new tool with the caption, “Using tape for your eyeliner is so 2015.”  As you can see from the pic, the Beautyblender Liner Designer is basically like a pretty pink guitar pick, complete with its own case. According to Allure, it’s made out of a rubbery plastic.

You can use the Liner Designer to create a wide variety of liner looks. You might think that the tool is a uniform shape, but the Liner Designer actually has three different sides. one straight, one curved, and one that’s short and round. The Instagram photo shows some of the looks you can use with the help of the Liner Designer, but that’s just the beginning. Another bonus about the product is that it works with different formulas of liner including pencils, liquids, and gels.

If you’re wondering why there are some lips included in the photo, it is because you can also use the Liner Designer when applying your lip liner. If you’re not a pro like Kylie Jenner at using lip liner, you can use the Liner Designer as a guide to get the perfect shape. Similarly, it also looks like it could be a good guide to help you achieving a flawless arch in your eyebrows.

If you are wondering when you can get your hands on the Liner Designer, I’m sorry to say that you’ll have to wait. It will launch in the spring, and Allure reports that it will cost $16. For the time being, just remember that your days of taking 15 minutes to get your eyeliner right will soon be a thing of the past.
