Gloss Editors Best Beauty ProductsThere are thousands of beauty products that are launched every year, but only a few of them can be game-changers and go on to become cult products. We test out as many makeup products that we can get our hands on from highly anticipated mascaras to new innovative beauty products. Hello, self-tanning bronzing minerals. However, it takes a special kind of product to go from fun-to-try to a makeup bag staple. These products earned top marks from us, and now have well-deserved places in our makeup routines.

Check out The Gloss Editors’ picks for the best makeup products of 2015:

1. Jillian Lucas: Star Wars x COVERGIRL Makeup, from $5.49Star Wars Limited Edition Lipstick Cap Off

Jillian couldn’t just narrow it down to a single product, she loved this entire Star Wars collection. Who wouldn’t? She says, “I mean, anything Star Wars has my vote, but the looks that Pat McGrath did and the products that came out of the collaboration are my favorite thing. The dark purple lipstick has a little bit of blue-hued shimmer and it’s awesome.”

2. Sara Steinfeld: Milani Stay Put Brow Color, $6.99Milani Brow Color

Sara didn’t have a full-blown eyebrow obsession like a lot of people, but she has been converted thanks to this brow color. She explains, “I never thought I’d become an eyebrow person, but now my face feels naked without it.”

3. Heather Cichowski: Lipstick Queen Frog Prince, $25Lipstick Queen Frog Prine

Self-adjusting lipsticks are always fun to test out. This one has an emerald queen bullet, but transforms into a pretty pink shade on your lips. The formula is creamy and comfortable to wear thanks to vitamin E and shea butter. I also love the frog prince concept.

4. Sara Steinfeld: Tom Ford Lips & Boys Lipstick in Jay, $35Tom Ford Jay

Sara had two makeup products that she really loved this year. Her second was actually an entire collection. She explains, “[I loved the] Tom Ford Beauty’s Lips & Boys Collection. While I, like the majority of the world, was unable to get my hands on Drake, I did get Jay, and it’s amazing. It goes on smooth, doesn’t flake or fade all that much, and the color is just beautiful. I’m not usually an iridescent or shimmery lipstick kind of girl, but I’m in love.”

5. Kristyn Filip: Benefit Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara, $24Benefit Roller Lash

This mascara is just going to keep showing up on every must-have list, so do yourself a favor and try it, if you haven’t already. Kristyn says, “I bought Roller Lash on the day it hit stores this past February, and it’s been my go-to mascara ever since. It lengthens and curls so well that I haven’t felt the need to use an eyelash curler in months.”

6. Elizabeth Licata: Dita Von Teese x Mac Lipstick, $18MAC Dita Von Teese

You cannot go wrong with red lipstick and MAC collaborations, which explains Liz’s pick. She says, “There’s no such thing as too many red lipsticks. (If there were, I’d probably have hit it already.)”

7. Kelsey Manning: Benefit Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara, $24Benefit Roller Lash

Remember what I just said? That was before I even knew Kelsey’s answer. Here are more reasons you need to try this mascara. Kelsey explains, “No question my favorite makeup product of 2015 is Benefit’s Roller Lash Mascara. I’ve talked about it so many times on The Gloss that I fully expect you all have it already, but if you don’t, please rectify that situation immediately. It gives you the longest, blackest lashes you could ever hope for to the point that people regularly ask me if I’m wearing falsies. I don’t foresee using any other mascara for a long time.” Are you convinced yet?
