These are the beauty trends from Milan Fashion Week that anyone can wear in real life:

Ombre lips don’t have to be drastic. Your ombre lips can be as subtle as your soft ombre hair. The orange to hot pink lips at MSGM were bright but not OTT thanks to the deft blending of colors.Subtle Ombre MFW Beauty Trend

To get the look, start by evening out your complexion with a BB Cream (Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream, bareMinerals). Choose a cool neutral eyeshadow trio (Ice Cream Eyeshadow Trio, Stila) and apply the medium taupe shade to your lids and the lightest one on the inner corners of your eye. For the lips, begin by lining your lips with a hot pink liner (Pure Color Lip Liner In Neon Pink, New Look). Apply a similar hot pink lipstick (Semi Matte Lipstick In Schiap, NARS) to your lips then add a bit of orange lipstick (Lipstick In Electric Orange, Maybelline) in the very center of your lips with your fingertip. Blend the colors with your finger or a Q-tip.

2. Decorated Side Ponytails

Side ponytails probably make you think of 80s prom movies but the twist on the side ponytail at Prada made them look very chic and modern. They were ever-so-slightly off-center and the sleek texture was what made them look cool and not retro.

The beautiful rhinestone clips also helped.Side Ponytails MFW Beauty Trend

Begin by scooping your hair back into a ponytail that is a few degrees off center and secure it with an elastic (Hair Ties, CyndiBands). Tease the ponytail with a comb (Tail Comb, Mason Pearson) near the base of your ponytail to give it some body. Arrange your ponytail behind one ear and secure it with a sparkly barrette (Tropical Punch Bird Barrette, Erickson Beamon For Beauty) midway down the ponytail. Finish the look with a fine mist of hairspray (Sheer Hold Hairspray, Frederic Fekkai).

You’ve probably tried matte, shimmery and even glitter eyeshadows, but glossy is a whole different texture. At Roberto Cavalli, models’ lids were coated with a glossy finish that added a fresh take to the slept-in-but-still-tidy black liner on the bottom lashes.Glossy Lids MFW Beauty Trend

The look is all about the eyes, so a bit of foundation (Studio Skin Hydrating Foundation, Smashbox) is all you need on your face. Next, add a peach shadow (Deluxe Eyeshadow In Soft Peach, Trish McEvoy) to your eyelids. To get the glossy look, you can apply a tiny bit of clear lip balm or Vaseline (Intensive Moisture Locking Cream, Vaseline) on top. For your lower lash line, apply a black pencil (Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil, Rimmel) followed by a thin streak of silver (Shimmering Silver Eye Pencil, Love 21) underneath. Smudge slightly with a Q-tip for a worn in look. For your lips, you can use the same lip balm as you did for your eyes.

4. Banded Undone BunsA model is seen backstage ahead of the Fendi show during the Milan Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2015 on February 26, 2015 in Milan, Italy.

You don’t have to worry about getting this look perfect because it is meant to look slightly undone. Start by brushing (Oil Infused Paddle Brush, Free People) your hair into a low ponytail. Secure it with a loose hair elastic (Hair Elastics, H&M) then twist it back around itself and through the elastic so it forms a messy bun. It’s okay if it isn’t perfect, you want some pieces to fall out. Add a few bobby pins (Everyday Bobby Pin Hair Set, Urban Outfitters) to keep it in place. Slip on your headband (Cotton Turban Twist Knot Headband, Amazon) and mist your locks with hairspray (Fashion Work 12 Hairspray, Redken).

We’ve seen the 60s referenced at other fashion weeks, and Giorgio Armani created their own modern 60s look with muted gray crease shadow. It had a clear throwback look but didn’t look like you needed to wear it with go-go boots and a five-point hair cut.60s Crease Shadow MFW

Conceal any blemishes or uneven spots with a powder foundation (Compact Powder Foundation, Dermablend). For your eyes, sweep a gray shadow (Grand Canal Eyeshadow, Chantecaille) on the lid and then use a stiffer brush (Eyeshadow Brush #104, BECCA) to draw a slightly elongated line just above your natural crease. Blend it slightly so the edge isn’t crisp. Add white shadow to the inner corners of your eyes and put on a coat of mascara (Lengthening And Volumizing Mascara, Aerin Lauder). A natural peach lip balm (Baby Lips Lip Balm In Peachy Kiss, Maybelline) is all you need to complete the look.
