Paris Fashion Week Beauty TrendsParis Fashion Week marked the final week of Fashion Month. We’ve seen some great new beauty trends from New York, London and Milan, and Paris gave us plenty more. We saw white mascara make a second appearance at Alexander McQueen and Chanel figured out a way to make Cara Delevingne‘s brows look even bolder. We also saw mullets and crimped hair make a return to the runway. While we may not be copying the two former ideas, there are lots of hair and makeup looks you will definitely want to recreate.

If you don’t have a steady hand, you need to work on improving your eyeliner skills. In addition to a strong shadow look, the Chanel show featured models with thick liner that was drawn around the entire perimeter of the eye then extended out.Elongated Eyeliner Trend

To recreate the look, begin by evening our your complexion with foundation (Studio Skin Hydrating Foundation, Smashbox). For the eyes, use the tip of a liner brush (Liner Makeup Brush, Urban Decay) to create the elongated flick with dark gray liner (Crème Eyeliner In Graphite, Laura Mercier). Then fill it in by using the thicker part of the brush. Remember to line under your eyes. Complete the look with a swipe of creamy peony pink lipstick (Lipstick In Musk Stick, Gorgeous Cosmetics) and an apricot blush (Blush-N-Bright Baked Cheek Color In Garden, Laura Geller).

The look at Balenciaga wasn’t quite a ballerina bun but it was similar. It is the sleek, less poufy version.A model walks the runway during the Balenciaga show as part of the Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2015/2016 on March 6, 2015 in Paris, France.

Brush (Vented Grooming Brush, Philip Kingsley) your hair into a high ponytail and fasten with an elastic (Blonde Blending Hair Elastics, Claire’s). Smooth out any flyaways with a bit of hair gel (Hard Up Holding Gel, Style Sexy Hair) for a very sleek look. Tease your ponytail to make it extra thick, then coil it around itself to create a bun. Secure with bobby pins (Bobby Pins, Nelly). Coat it with hairspray (Spray De Mode Hairspray, Bumble & Bumble) so it holds its shape.

If you don’t want to try a stark black lipstick because it reminds you too much of your emo days, the blackcurrant lips at Ungaro have the same strong color but hopefully the look won’t give you mall goth flashbacks.Black Currant Lips Beauty Trend Paris Fashion Week 2015

This look is all about the lips so you don’t need to do much else with the rest of your face. First prep your complexion with foundation (Rich Liquid Foundation, Illamasqua) and powder (Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Tinted Powder, Tarte). For your lips, use a dark lip liner (Lip Liner Pencil In Dark Brown, Fashion Fair) to draw around the perimeter and fill them in. Apply your deep blackcurrant lipstick (Liquid Liquid Lipstick In Ruby Murray, Butter London) on top. Blot with a tissue so the color looks worn in and finish with a lipstick sealant (Lipstick Sealer, Lipcote).

4. Long Side PonytailsDior Long Side Ponytail PFW 2015

Side ponytails aren’t just for schoolgirls or 80s prom queen Halloween costumes. Dior showed that side ponytails can be sophisticated and chic. If you have short hair, you’ll want extensions just so you can create this look.Sleek Ponytails Beauty Trend Paris Fashion Week 2015

Use a comb (Detangling Comb, ghd) to style your hair in a deep side part. Spray your locks with heat protection spray (Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray, Wella) and use a straightener (S9600 Silk Straightener, Remington) to get them super straight. Next, bring your hair to just behind one ear and secure it with an elastic (10-Pack Hair Elastics, H&M) to create a low ponytail. Mist with hairspray (Forceful 23 Finishing Hairspray, Redken).

5. Double Liner FlickMugler

We’ve seen a double liner flick at a few different fashion shows, but Mugler put their own unique twist on the look by drawing the second line slightly above the corner of the eye. It might look like you have a random line when you close your eyes, but when they’re open, it helps you look wide awake.Double Flick Liner Trend Paris Fashion Week 2015

Conceal any problem areas with a BB cream (BB Cream SPF 35, Bobbi Brown). For your eyes, use a liquid black liner (Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner, Stila) to draw your regular cat eye flick, then draw a small line just above your original one, extending it slightly more upward. Apply mascara (The Falsies Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara, Maybelline) to your top and bottom lashes. Put on a peach blush (Fresh Face Cheek Color In 102 Apricot Peach, Koh Gen Do) and some lip balm (Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Awakening Lip Balm In Coral, Dior), and the look is complete.
