Is there any scent more delicious than that of a peach? I’ve been racking my brain for an answer, but I’m coming up with nothing. Peaches are sweet, they’re tasty, and thanks to Instagram emojis, they remind everyone of butts… Which, I mean, isn’t really the worst thing, right?
Anyway, peaches smell like pure heaven, so it should come as no surprise that many perfumers include a peach note in their fragrances. The following are six of my favorite peach-scented perfumes, all of which fans of the fuzzy little fruit are sure to love. Let me know what you think of my picks (and leave me the names of your own) in the comments section below.
Byredo Parfums Pulp, $150 for 50 ml
I first become interested in Byredo Parfums after I learned that Mandy Moore is basically obsessed with all of them. As it would turn out, she’s not the only one—it seems like almost every single Byredo fragrance has achieved cult classic status. Pulp is perhaps one of the house’s lesser known perfumes, but honestly, that makes it all the more appealing. Pulp is a bold and fruity blend of bergamot, cardamom, fig, apple, peach, and praline.
Gucci Guilty, $77 for 50 ml
I’m not at all a fan of this bottle, but the fragrance inside is divine. This is a really warm and sexy scent that fans of peach and amber will love. Guilty is a beautiful blend of mandarin, pink pepper, peach, lillac, geranium, amber, and patchouli.
Bath & Body Works Pretty as a Peach Diamond Shimmer Mist, $16
I can think of no better body mist for the peach lover who’s looking for something fun and lightweight to toss in her gym bag. Are you going to be able to smell this scent hours after application? Eh, probably not, but it will leave you with shimmery skin, which is entirely worth the trade-off, as far as I’m concerned. Pretty in Peach features notes of peach, pear, freesia, nectarine, jasmine, apple, sweet pea, sweet tea, woods, orchid, iris, and musk.
Chanel Coco Eau de Parfum, $94 for 1.7 ml
Yes, peach lovers, there is a Chanel perfume for you. Coco is a beautiful fragrance; it’s very spicy and ever so slightly fruity. The notes in this perfume are of coriander, mandarin orange, peach, jasmine, rose, mimosa, cloves, orange blossom, clover, amber, sandalwood, tonka bean, opoponax, and vanilla.
TokyoMilk I Want Candy, $30 for 30 ml
There’s so much to love about TokyoMilk fragrances, but perhaps the best thing about them is their price point: for $30, you can own a super unique, top shelf-worthy perfume. I Want Candy is a simple but pretty blend of violets, peaches, apples, and roses.
Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne, $125 for 100 ml
Ah, Jo Malone, you master! Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne is a delicious, juicy, total treat of a fragrance. Inspired by the scent of London’s Covent Garden Market, it’s one of my favorite perfumes in the Jo Malone collection. Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne features notes of black currant, nectarine, black locust; vetiver, peach, and plum.
