Gwyneth Paltrow gained 20 pounds for her role in the upcoming Country Strong. I have no idea how she did that. I’ve read GOOP. The woman pretty much lives on organic kale and almond butter. Oh, wait, now I know. Fried chicken. Thanks, CNN! Well, good for her – it seems like if you live a lifestyle where kale is a staple (which most actresses pretty much have to) it must be really fun to chow down on some fried chicken to get ready for a role. That said, I would never in a million years be able to tell that Gwyneth Paltrow gained any weight at all for that role. How skinny was she before that I’m looking at her here in the trailer and still thinking, “well, yeah, she looks movie star thin to me?”
