Christian Louboutin has launched not one, but three different fragrances. As you would expect, the scents are just as luxurious as the shoes and the makeup. The fragrance collection is made up of three fragrances with amazing names: Bikini Questa Sera, Trouble in Heaven and Tornade Blonde.

As you can probably guess, Trouble in Heaven is a sexy scent. Oriental amber, tonka absolute, iris and patchouli all come together to create a heady scent. Tornade Blonde is a feminine floral scent with a punch. It is made with sweet violet, cassis and red rose. Finally, Bikini Questa Sera is about the scent of the sun mixing with that of a woman thanks to jasmine and tuberose.

What separates the Christian Louboutin fragrances from others is the way they are formulated. The fragrances have a formula that Christian himself likens to touching a piano key. Confused? Let him explain:

“I want you to experience the fragrance in the same way as you experience a piano note being played. So there is the “ping”, the first burst of the scent like the striking of the piano key, followed by a beautiful resonance as the note echoes its sound. There is one present moment, and then there is the trace, le sillage. I think of it as its memory.”

Cool, eh? What also separates the scents from the others on your vanity is the bottles. They were crafted by Heatherwick Studio, aka the geniuses behind that famous cauldron at the 2012 London Olympics. They’re referred to more as objet arts instead of simply bottles.  In other words, you’re not going to be tossing these out when the fragrance is gone.

If you’re looking to pick up a fragrance, you get buy them on the Christian Louboutin website. Each perfume will set you back $275. That may be a bit of a splurge when you compare it to other perfumes, but it is almost a bargain when you compare it to some of the shoes in the designer’s collection.
