There’s always room for more Disney magic in our lives — and makeup bags — so we were thrilled when ColourPop Cosmetics dropped the big announcement that it was collaborating with Disney on a Disney Designer collection. The makeup line is also special because it’s inspired by Disney princesses but with a twist.

Imagine if all your favorite Disney princesses were taken out of their respective stories and put on glamorous red carpets. That’s the mood of the ColourPop Cosmetics Disney Designer collection. The range features iconic princesses including Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, Ariel and Tiana on the packaging, rocking some of the most fabulous red carpet looks — but with a Disney twist, natch. The shades also draw inspiration from the Disney stories.

The affordable collection ranges from $5 for a Super Shock Shadow up $20 for a It’s A Princess Thing Pressed Powder Eyeshadow Palette. There are six Super Shock Shadows for each Disney princess plus six Creme Lux Lipsticks ($6 each). Then there are three Glossy Lips ($6 each) and two Super Shock Highlighters ($8 each).

Those who appreciate good product names will like some of the Super Shock Shadow names which include A Whole New World (icy lavender with pink, silver and blue glitter), Under the Sea (bright seamfoam with golden sheen), Be Our Guest (berry pink with blue-violet sheen) and Heigh-Ho (glittery ivory pearl). The It’s A Princes Thing Pressed Powder Eyeshadow Palette has equally fabulous shade names. What’s more, it’s special because it’s ColourPop’s first 15-pan eyeshadow palette. The shades are described as “soft romantic shadows” which are obviously inspired by our favorite Disney Princesses.

If you plan on collecting most of the makeup line, ColourPop is offering the Disney Designer Collection Set ($110) which features everything save the Super Shock Highlighters. There are 16 pieces in the range. If you want something special, there’s the Disney Designer PR Kit ($120). Note that the kits are available in “extremely limited quantities” and feature the It’s a Princess Thing Palette, Fairytale Moment Super Shock Shadow Foursome, Kiss The Girl Crème Lux Lipstick Collection and the three Ultra Glossy Lips, all in exclusive packaging.
