It was in March 2018 that Cover FX announced the Power Play foundation range that featured 40 shades with a “modern matte” finish. Now, we’ve found out that the brand isn’t stopping there. It has been revealed that COVER FX is launching the Power Play Concealer ($30) in 30 shades to complement the foundation.
The Cover FX Power Play Concealer isn’t available to buy quite yet, but the brand is already teasing it on the website. It has similar rectangular-shaped packaging as the Power Play Foundation and promises to be as inclusive. Cover FX reveals that it’s a full-coverage concealer with a long-wearing formula that crease proof. It’s also pigmented enough to cover anything from dark circles to imperfections. Additionally, the formula is vegan and cruelty free.
In terms of colors, Cover FX was kind enough to swatch all of the shades on its website. The brand reports there are shades for all skin tones and they’ve been helpfully broken down by fair, light, medium and deep shades then by undertone. Sometimes, it’s the undertone that ruins a prospective concealer so you’ll be happy to hear that there are four options for Cover FX. They are: Pink (P) a rosy, cool hue, Neutral (N) that mixes equal parts gold and pink, Golden (G), a yellow, warmer shade and G+. The last option is for those who want even warmer, more olive tones than the standard G shades. The collection also includes a pure white shade.
If you want to try the Cover FX concealers, they will be launching the end of July. If you want to be the first one to try them out, sign up on the Cover FX website.
