We love it when beauty brands surprise us with completely new innovations, but there’s also something to be said for beauty brands who listen to feedback to create even better products. That’s what CoverGirl did for its new foundation launch, the Tru Blend Matte Made Foundation ($12).

CoverGirl took to Instagram to announce the new shade. The brand explained that it listened to customers’ feedback about their skin’s needs and came up with the new formula. The multitasking product is a matte liquid foundation that’s comfortable and breathable. What’s more, it minimizes the appearance of pores and manages oil production. Unlike some foundations, this one won’t smudge.

If you’re worried about getting a good match, you’ll be very happy to hear that the foundation comes in 40 shades. To make finding the right shade easier, the formulas have been broken down into four categories: light, medium, tan and deep.

As this is CoverGIRL, the foundation won’t cost mega bucks. It’ll ring in at $12 per bottle. You’ll be able to shop the latest product in the TruBlend family when the TruBlend Matte Made Foundations roll out into stores in June.
