You’re going to want to put those Dr. Pimple Popper videos on pause for a minute because Dr. Pimple Popper herself, aka Sandra Lee MD, has launched a new tool to help you get clearer skin, the Dr. Pimple Popper Blackhead Tweezers ($25).

Dr. Pimple Popper already has a few different products including the Comedone Extractor ($20) and her range of skin-perfecting masks. The Blackhead tweezers are the latest addition. Be aware that these definitely aren’t like your average pair of tweezers. You definitely wouldn’t want to attempt to extract blackheads with any old pair of tweezers.

Dr. Pimple Popper describes the Blackhead Tweezers as the BFF to the Comedone Extractor. The medical grade tweezers have a tensioned tweezer body and curved tips to allow users to basically pinch, pick up and pull away blackheads.

Because this is Dr. Pimple Popper we’re talking about, she also helpfully demonstrated how effective the tool is at clearing skin in a video. Spoiler alert: It’s as satisfying to watch the blackheads being removed as it is to watch a whitehead being popped. And we’re sure it will be super satisfying to remove them ourselves.

The Dr. Pimple Popper website recommends cleansing skin then applying a warm, moist towel over the extraction area for 1o to 15 minutes. After that, use a cotton pad and alcohol to disinfect the area before treatment. Then blackheads can be removed by applying light pressure. If they don’t come out easy, they recommend stopping. Once the treatment is over, the area should be disinfected again. Then you’re free to go admire your handiwork in the mirror.
