You’ve probably seen all of the Dr. Pimple Popper videos. And you’ve probably been either a bit horrified or weirdly entranced. No matter your reaction, the thing that all of us come away with is that dermatologist Sandra Lee, M.D. knows how to clear up skin. While we might not be able to get an appointment with her to work her magical fingers on our skin, we can get clearer complexions at home thanks to her new range of sheet masks.
Dr. Lee has teamed up with Dermovia to launch a range of skin-perfecting masks, and you’re going to want these in your beauty arsenal. The first mask you need on your radar is the Dr. Pimple Popper Lace A Peel x Dr. Pimple Popper Black Bamboo Charcoal Peel-Off Mask ($55). As the name implies, this is a pretty black lace mask. The two-part mask has a “peel paste” that you apply before the sheet mask. The peel paste is formulated with bamboo charcoal which helps detoxify the skin, manage oil and control breakouts. It also has aloe vera and chamomile to soothe irritated skin. The lace mask itself has ear loops an a neck cutout for a superior fit. FYI: The kit includes five treatments.
The second mask is the Dr. Pimple Popper Dermovia x Dr. Pimple Popper Clear Complexion Kit ($55). The kit includes four different masks to keep skin looking its best: a Exfoliating Papaya Mask to soften skin and unclog pores, a Clarifying Mulberry Leaf Mask to purify and fight acne bacteria, a Healing Yogurt Milk Mask to strengthen and calm and a Brightening Bearberry Mask. The kit comes with instructions of when to use each mask to get a #flawless finish.
Add the masks to your usual masking game and see how they’ll transform skin. And if you do get a spot, remember that Dr. Lee also has her other range of skin care products that you can dab on to that zit.
