Today is the day that the world was blessed with Jared Leto. He turns 44 years old today. (Yeah, I don’t believe it either.) In that time, Jared has tried many different looks. We all remember the beloved ombre Jesus hair that sent Twitter into overdrive when he chopped it off. Then think back to the classic Jordan Catalano man bob on My So-Called Life. There were a lot of different looks between those styles, and he made them all look very attractive.
Here are Jared Leto’s makeovers ranked from hot to hotter:
Erm, okay so about what I just said…this had to be for some film role, right? Right?!
This blonde is better. Admit it: You would probably take this to your hairstylist and ask them to cut and color your hair this way.
3. Green Hair and Lipstick, 2015
Jared’s green Joker hair was great, but it is the smudged red lipstick that puts this one lower on the list. It works for the character, but he really doesn’t need anything to enhance his features iRL.
Jared looked like Malfoy’s super hot cousin with his blonde hair. He can even pull off the dark roots. However, the growing-in eyebrows is a look that is difficult to pull off for anybody.
Not even Jared’s million pins could distract you from that hair. We’re used to seeing Jared with a lot more hair than this. He can pull off the mohawk as well as the next rocker.

On anyone else, this look would be very difficult to pull off, but somehow Jared makes grown-out blonde hair and a hairstyle that looks dangerously like a mullet look good.
If it was 2007, this look would have been on the top of the list and we probably would have used some My Chemical Romance lyric to say how great it was. You can still appreciate the black lob with red lowlights today, but there are better modern looks.
Was Jared channeling Edward Cullen here? If he is, it still works. The beard and artfully tied scarf help make it his own.
Here is another hairstyle that looks dangerously like a mullet, with intentional cowlick layers on the top of his head. Somehow it looks hot. Don’t try to figure it out, it just does.
This is Jared’s current look. It’s no secret that we are fans of crazy-colored hair. The bubblegum pink hair is great, however this look has enough hair gel for about five heads. It got him a Gucci campaign so clearly it works.
Of course the man bun is going to rank high on the list. People talked abut Jared’s bun more than some of the Golden Globes award winners. Can you really blame them?
This is the boy version of bedhead and it works. Spiky hair was very popular in the 2000’s but Jared wisely avoid the gelled icicles that many guys tried. Plus, this hairstyle really shows off his piercing blue eyes.
Zac Efron, is that you? It is a shame that the side bangs were ruined but some unfortunate adopters later in time because Jared made a very strong case for this look.
14. Man Bob, 1995
The Jordan Catalano haircut is a classic. Man bobs are making a comeback now, so maybe Jared will bring this look back. It is time.
This was the beginning stages of Jared’s Jesus hair, and everyone was already a fan. Heck, most people still are crying that it is gone. Just think about the number of people who took this photo to their hairstylists and asked them to copy it.
How could anything else be at the top of this list? Jared looked like Jesus, and he even knew it. You cannot go wrong with Jesus, especially when the ombre is that good.
