"Orange Is The New Black" Season 2 Photocall

When he’s not busy playing everyone’s least favorite Orange is the New Black character, it looks like Jason Biggs passes the time by making mean comments about his friends’ bodies. Jason recently appeared on Joan Rivers‘ webseries, In Bed With Joan, during which the two of them made some blatantly rude jokes about Jewish people (um), talked about how torturous it is to be a successful actor whose privacy is still respected (alright), and took some low blows at Jason’s American Pie costar, Tara Reid. Cool.

As part of an MFK-inspired game, “Live or Die,” Jason was asked to choose between Tara and Lindsay Lohan. He chose Lindsay, declaring,

Well, she’s got nice boobs, she really does. Lindsay’s got nice boobs. Tara’s body– I don’t know what’s going on with it. I don’t think she ever knows what’s going on with it. Lindsay doesn’t know what’s going on with Tara’s body either. No one knows what’s going on with Tara’s body, okay?

This wouldn’t bother me if I thought it was part of a playful joke that Tara was in on, but as E! points out, Jason has a history of hurting her feelings in public. After he called her a “hot mess” last year, Tara tweeted, “it’s really sad I just landed in LA and the first thing I read about you that you are calling me a hot mess.i I’ve supported u !” So not only is he throwing around insults directed towards someone he used to work with, but he knows for a fact that it bothers her.

I’m not saying that Tara’s pathetic or can’t stand up for herself– her comedy chops tell me that she’s not the idiot people tried to make her out to be– but didn’t she suffer enough criticism from strangers without having to hear it from a coworker as well? She was such an easy target in the early 2000s. Not only are Jason’s comments mean, but they’re tired. They’re boring. Move on, dude.
