The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder ($38) is an iconic product thanks to the way it provides a flattering finish to foundation and concealer without looking heavy or altering the color of skin/makeup. It delivers a soft-focus, modern matte effect hat cuts shine without looking powdery. If you liked the look, but occasionally wanted to have a more luminous option, Laura Mercier has just unveiled the Translucent Loose Setting Powder – Glow ($38).

This marks the first time that the powder has been reformulated into a glowing version. It still has many of the same attributes as the OG powder. It’s a long-wearing formula that offers 12 hours of wear, while feeling weightless. It’s also still available is two shades: Translucent for light to medium skin tones and Translucent Medium Deep for medium to dark complexions.

The Translucent Loose Setting Powder – Glow is different because it’s infused with radiant pearl pigments for a little extra shine. Note that the formula doesn’t overdo it with the sparkle. It gives skin a healthy radiance but is nowhere near glitterbomb territory. What’s more, it has a no-flashback formula which lends itself well to photos and selfies.

The Glow Loose Powder is available in a standard size for $38 and a 0.33 oz travel size for $23. Laura Mercier has also launched the Glow Powder Brush ($38) to go along with the loose powder. It has an asymmetrical curved shape that has been designed to suit the contours of the face. It means that the glowing powders will be applied smoothly and evenly over the entire face without random patches of sparkle.

The Laura Mercier Glow Translucent Loose Setting Powders and brush are available to shop now on the Laura Mercier website.
