If you think that pink makeup is only for the contestants on Toddlers in Tiaras or for people who want to look like Barbie, the latest MAC Cosmetics collection just might have you changing your opinion. MAC is launching the Flaming Park makeup collection and it has the potential to make everyone as much of a pink fan as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde.
Fresh off the heels of the announcement that MAC is collaborating with fashion designer Chris Chang of Poesia, the brand has another upcoming collection for us to obsess over. The Flamingo Park collection is one of the prettiest collections. They don’t call it pretty in pink for nothing.
MAC’s Flamingo Park collection features an impressive product range. The collection includes eyeshadows, lipsticks, glosses, lip liner, mascara, highlighter, blush and even nail polish. Checked out the flecked polish in the above photo. The products are available in the various shades of pink. The collection runs the gamut from soft pink to electric fuchsia. However, there are also some other products that aren’t pink. There are two mascaras, bronzer, and two purplish eyeliners.
The Flamingo Park collection will launch on February 4 and it will be available in stores and online. That is your Valentine’s Day makeup look sorted. However, that doesn’t mean that once the romantic holiday is over the collection will look as weird as a Christmas sweater after December 25. No way. The Flamingo Park collection has shades that you can wear all year. Any of the bold blushes are perfect to stop you from looking like a ghoul for the rest of winter. Plus, any of the lippies would work all year round.
The collection is also versatile. You can use the soft pink shades to create a soft daytime look. If it is drama you are after, you can combine some of the bright pink and purple-pink lipsticks for a statement ombre lip. The mascara and eyeliners could be worn with pretty much any other makeup look.
MAC has been a roll lately. There is the aforementioned Chris Chang collection. Plus, the brand have recently teamed up with Ariana Grande on a Viva Glam lipstick collection. We also cannot forget about its partnership with the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund womenswear finalists or MAC’s red lipstick it created with Dita Von Teese. Then there was the Ellie Goulding collaboration. Now MAC has this pretty Flamingo Park collection. What is next? Stayed tuned because there will probably be another exciting new collection announcement in a couple of weeks.
The full MAC Cosmetics Flamingo Park collection will be available February 4, 2016 in stores and online!
