Forever 21 already has a fantastic beauty section, so when it was announced that the brand would be opening a store that was completely dedicated to beauty, we were excited. A few short months after the rumors started in May 2017, we’re getting the first of the new beauty stores, called Riley Rose, soon, like really soon.
Refinery29 reported that the first Riley Rose store will open on September 30 at the Glendale Galleria in California. If you love Forever 21’s mix of beauty products, you’re going to like Riley Rose’s because it has a combination of cult favorite brands (hello, Essie and Lime Crime) mixed with some under-the-radar ones. K-beauty fans will also be pleased to know that the store will stock a great selection of Korean beauty brands for you to add to your collection. FYI: When we say Riley Rose will stock beauty products, we don’t just mean makeup. There are lots of haircare, body and skincare options, too.
One big way that Forever 21 and Riley Rose will differentiate themselves is in terms of prices. While Forever 21 offer budget-friendly options, the prices at Riley Rose will range from $2 to $189.
As for the actual store itself, it will reportedly have designated selfie stations that customers can use while they’re playing around with the products as well as zones for customers to get their social on. And it’s not just about virtual. POPSUGAR reported that Riley Rose stores will have a Barbie Dream House vibe complete with a white front and pink signs.
If you don’t live in California, don’t be too upset because there are plans to open more Riley Rose stores by the end of 2017. And don’t forget that the Forever 21 beauty section still has some amazing finds.
