Marc Jacobs‘ Daisy fragrance is iconic. Since the perfume launched in 2007, it has been released in various guises including collector’s edition bottles and scents. Marc Jacobs recently launched a new version with the Daisy Love Eau de Toilette Spray ($84). And the brand has gone a step above by dropping a lip gloss, the Daisy Love Enamored Gloss ($28), to coordinate with the perfume.
Beauty companies have made it easier to match our lips to our nails, but coordinating our fragrances with our lip colors probably isn’t something you’ve thought of before. It’s worth considering thanks to the Daisy Love fragrance and lip gloss.
To recap, the Daisy Love fragrance is a tribute to the OG scent. The new launch is described as a “gourmand radiant fragrance.” It has top notes of iced cloudberries followed by daisy tree petals, cashmere musk and driftwood. It comes in a bottle that’s similar to the original with an oversized white plastic daisy on top.
The Daisy Love Enamored Hi-Shine Gloss Lip Lacquer takes inspiration from the perfume’s color scheme. It’s a flattering peachy nude color with mega shine. Because we know you’re going to ask, the lip gloss is mint-scented, like the rest of the Lip Lacquers in the collection. It also has the same long-lasting finish and Triple Shine complex which makes it look like lips have been slicked with 30 coats of lacquer in one swipe.
Both the Daisy Love Eau de Toilette and Hi-Shine Gloss Lip Lacquer are available now.
