We’ve had the New York shows and the London shows. The next stop? Milan Fashion Week. In addition to inspiring our style, the Fall 2016 shows at MFW gave us lots of wearable beauty inspiration. Whether you’re looking for hair or makeup ideas, the Milan shows had a few fresh ideas, including easy ways to add color into your look.
Here are five wearable looks from Milan Fashion Week:
The Roberto Cavalli show featured a subtle makeup look. The eyes were the focus with a bit of smudged black liner and long lashes.
To get the look, start off with some foundation (Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, $39) and concealer (Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Concealer, $27) to even out your skin tone. For the eyes, outline the entire perimeter of the eye with a black eyeliner (Cynthia Rowley Pencil Eyeliner in Black, $16). Add a bit of gray shadow (Vincent Longo Eyeshadow in Don’t Speak, $24) using a skinny shadow brush (Atika Cosmetics Angled Eyeshadow Brush, $35). Blend the look together. Apply multiple coats of a curling and lengthening mascara (Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara, $24). Finish with lip balm (Napoleon Perdis Minimalips Lipstick, $29).
Bobby pins are such a versatile and inexpensive hair accessory. Models at the Max Mara show wore groups of multicolored bobby pins in their manes for a bit more color.
Begin by applying a heat protection product (Alterna Caviar Repair RX Multivitamin Heat Protection Spray, $30). Dry your hair with a blow dryer (BlowPro Titanium Professional Dryer, $139) and a round brush (Bio Ionic Silver Classic Medium Round Brush, $31) angling the ends so they curl under to frame your face. For a sleek finish, go over the look with a flat iron (Kardashian Beauty Ceramic 1″ Flat Iron, $90). Take a few bobby pins of different colors (Urban Outfitters Jar of Bobbies, $8) and place them at the side of your head. Finish with hairspray (Clinique Non-Aerosol Hairspray, $13).

The look at the Byblos show was soft and pretty. Instead of your usual nude shadow, models’ eyes were given a wash of a rosy shade. Adding to the monochromatic makeup trend, cheeks and lips were coordinated as well.
This look is all about a monochromatic palette. Start off with luminizing BB cream (Stila Stay All Day Illuminating BB Cream, $38) to even out your base. Apply a hint of rose shadow (NARS Dual Intensity Shadow in Kari, $29) on the lid, blending it almost up to the brows. Follow up with two coats of mascara (Dior Diorshow Lash Extension Volume Effect Mascara, $28) on the top and bottom lashes. Apply a rose multipurpose product (Stila Convertible Color in Peony, $25) to your cheeks and use the same shade on your lips.
Versace is bringing back the forehead band. Models at the show wore skinny black headbands that were worn over the hair and just below the hairline.
Roughly dry your hair using a blow dryer (T3 PROi Professional Hair Dryer, $350), then add some salt spray (Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texturizing Spray, $8) for more texture. Part your hair down the center using a comb (Sephora Mini Tidy Detangling Comb, $6) and put on a skinny black headband (Sparkly Soul Headband, $17) over top of your hair. Position it just below your hairline. Secure it with bobby pins (Cara Bobby Pins, $8) at the sides. Mist with hairspray (Ouidad Curl Last Flexible Hold Hairspray, $20) to keep your lose waves in place.
Models’ lashes got a colorful update at the Emporio Armani show. Pink or bright green was added to the outer corners of the lashes. It was a unique way to add a pop of color to a beauty look.
Even out your skin with a matte foundation (L’Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation, $12). Follow it up with concealer (Estee Lauder Double Wear All Day Waterproof Concealer, $25) and powder (It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Finishing Powder, $29). For the eyes, enhance your brows with a pencil (Make Up For Ever Eyebrow Pencil, $19) and add a hint of liquid liner (Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Liner, $36) on the outer corners. Apply black mascara (H&M Mascara, $12.99) to your lashes. Wait for it to dry, then go over the outer corners of your lashes with a colored mascara (NYX Color Mascara in Pink Perfect, $9.50). Complete the look with a soft pink lipstick (Dior Diorific State of Gold Collection Lipstick in Rose Tutu, $38).
